“Stories of the Land” – Tracking Workshop in the Village of Galisteo
Please join us for a fun, family friendly event in the wild. There are only 25 spaces available, so rsvp soon!
Date and Time: Saturday July 9 from 9:00am-2:00pm
Location: Galisteo Community Center, 35 Avenida Vieja, Galisteo
Lunch: Order lunch from EWI for $10 or bring your own for a picnic and talk with our wildlife experts. See below to order lunch.
Snacks: EWI will offer snacks and beverages
Kids/pets: The event is child friendly, but we cannot accommodate pets.
Terrain: The hike is mostly on flat, with a few brief steeper sections. The vegetation may be rough and spiny in some spots so please wear all-weather clothes and sturdy hiking boots.
Bring: Water, hat, sunscreen
Suggested donation: $20 to cover our costs and pay our trackers.

“Harvesting Water from the Sky!” – A Water Harvesting Workshop in Eldorado
Please join the Eldorado Community Improvement Association, Earth Works Institute, and guest speaker Reese Baker of The Raincatcher, for a close look at water harvesting techniques and technology at the Eldorado Community Center, a slide show presentation, and a fair of water harvesting businesses from across Santa Fe County.
Date and Time: Monday July 11 from 6:30-9:00pm
Location: Eldorado Community Center, 1 Hacienda Loop, Eldorado
Suggested donation: Free of charge, but your donations are very welcome.
