Earth Action Education
From the ground up, Earth Action Education helps communities and individuals learn to become more rooted, skilled, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about living in place and in harmony with natural systems. Everyone gets involved – youth and adults – in creating an EcoWise Community!
Resources available from Earth Works Institute
Available in PDF format, the Teacher Toolkit is a resource guide for educators who want to support environmental and outdoor education in New Mexico. In addition to the resource guide, Earth Works Institute has created its own outdoor ecology curriculum that includes program kits with tools for experiential learning. Program activities include watershed simulation, native plant identification, bird habitat education, aquatic invertebrate observation, and outdoor classroom design and construction.
Earth Works Institute works hard to coordinate with schools and organizations such as Earth Care International to build multidimensional educational programs to “leave no child inside.”
We seek interested collaborators, and encourage educators to contact us for more information.
